Alessandro Cortina

Alessandro attended the University of Milan and studied Cybersecurity. After the conclusion of the degree course, Alessandro collaborates with Perani & Partners S.p.A. dealing with process consulting on issues such as: organizational security, personal data protection, intellectual property protection, data governance and business process management. In addition, he also deals with the drafting of technical reports in extrajudicial and judicial contexts. Parallel to his work, Alessandro continues to take care of his academic training: he attended in the academic year 2020-2021 the Advanced Course in “Criminalità Informatica e Investigazioni Digitali” at the University of Milan and, currently, he attended for the academic year 2021-2022 the Second Level Master Course in “Cybersecurity” at the same university. From May 2022 Alessandro is an International Research Fellow at the Information Society Law Center (ISLC). The ISLC is a multidisciplinary research center, founded in 2017 inside the “Cesare Beccaria” Department of Legal Sciences at University of Milan, devoted to the study of the so called “Digital Transformation Law” and the legal, technological, political and social aspects of the Information Society.
The main areas of research are: cybersecurity, data governance, digital investigation and digital forensics, cybersecurity law, compliance, personal data protection and intellectual property protection.
